4Quickbooks Prem Prof Serv  Feb 08, 2008 By DocHolliday "DocHolliday"
Not as good as I had hoped. I had hoped I could tailor the program more to my needs in providing professional services. However, after one weekend of work, I was ready to take a crowbar to the program.

Quickbooks is a good, inexpensive accounting product, but you had better work the way it wants you to and take time to go through all the tutorials before trying to use it.

4Time Tracking Flaws  May 04, 2008 By CDYNAC
Quickbooks sales staff and their corporate office stated that Outlook tracking of time was possible without a subscription to Quickbooks web services. This is wholly inaccurate.

Product in general works fine, but staff knowledge and assistance is part of the package.

5Quickbooks Premier Prof. Services Edition 2008  Jul 31, 2008 By R. Henderson "circuit designer"
I have been using Quickbooks in my company for many years now. This latest version reflects the continuing quality and improvements that previous versions of Quickbooks have shown. We are and have been very pleased with this software. We have been using Quickbooks since 1996.

2Don't buy it  Feb 19, 2009 By Bruce Ford "fordville"
This program will consume a lot of valuable time, and is buggy. In my case, I uncovered a bug in the way online transactions are downloaded.

(1) I had to pay for support only to find out it was a bug
(2) Their solution: buy the new version at $300 or better! I'd only had this version a few months.

I regret buying this and converting my records. This is a continual money sink as they try to up-sell you constantly. Look into other solutions, folks. This one is a dog!

4Quickbooks Premier 2008  Dec 07, 2010 By TheB's
I've been using this to run my business since 2009. I love it for the most part. There are a few things that could be improved when it comes to converting an estimate to an invoice. You can't apply a deposit to part of an estimate, so I had to create a deposit account. I've heard that there are a few kinks worked out in the newer versions, but I love it. Very user friendly and I go to the Intuit Community website if I have questions and learn how to "get around" the things that haven't been updated yet. Oh, if you create seperate jobs for customers, you can't apply a credit from one job to another job even though it's for the same customer, but I have learned how to get around that as well. Over all, worth it. I do payroll weekly with a few clicks of a button and I do all my taxes (except annual) with a few clicks of a button, all electronic and TOTALLY worth paying the extra for payroll. No more hand filling out forms!
