Expenses should be described and detailed accurately, the corporations minutes should be up to date and employees should be made aware of the audit. Only the information requested should be tendered and the agent should not be permitted to indulge in speculative harassment. Returns prepared as if an audit were imminent save time and trouble in the event of the real thing.
